Default Have Road 6 handlebars on your Street Bob? Please step inside...

So I'm pretty set on getting Road 6 Customs handlebars for my 2012 Street Bob but I'm still undecided on what size I want to get.

I'm thinking either 12" or 14". Originally I was going to go with the 12" in order to get a little height over my stock bars and still be sure I could keep my stock cables. I've read elsewhere though that the 12" grip position is actually lower than the current position with my stock 10" mini apes and while the stock grip position is comfortable I'd like to add just a little bit of elevation and definitely don't want to go any lower.

I guess my questions are as follows:

1. Those of you with the 12" bars, how did they feel compared to the stock mini apes? Do they really have a lower grip position?

2. If you are running the 14" bars were you able to use all the stock cables? I know 14" bars are kind of up in the air with stock cables depending on the style of the bar, but if the grip position really is low with these bars then I'd think 14" should work with the stock cables setup.

3. If you have either the 12" or 14" bars on your bike and have pictures could you please post them so that I can get an idea of how different they look once installed?

4. Lastly, are there any other brands out there (besides RSD) that make similar style handlebars that I should also look at?

Thanks in advance!

Got a 06 with the road6 14 inch narrow apes and love them. Right at shoulders I'm 5'10 also used all stock cables wires.

I had 16's on mine than went lower to these. The guy who made them is selling a shorter version on the horse board for 100$ at the moment. Nice bars!

I like these better due to the more rounded bend in the vertical part of the handlebar as apposed to the more angled bend in the road 6 ones. Do you have any more details regarding these? Who makes them? What are the measurements?

Thanks

If you pm me I will give you his contact info. He is out of OK and will make em anyway you like. He also powdercoated them. He has a pair shorter for sale right now. Mine are 12 tall and 32 wide and 9 at bottom I believe. I like these 100% more than a road6 basically for just what you noticed! Well and the great price as well!
