All good input and advice, thanks for the help guys. For now, just so I don't have a $1000 plus mistake, I think I'm going to go with getting 4-6in risers and see how that feels first. The Street Bob is my first non-mx bike ever, so I'm still learning, and I think going to big on apes may not be the smartest for me to start on. However, I do want an extra 4-6 inches of height, so I figure going with some risers will be the cheapest alternative for now, till I decide if I want higher or not. Anyone recommend any specific risers for the Street bob?
not sure if your aware of this, but the check out your risers... notice they are made into the top of the trees... just saying so you dont go buy risers and find out you can't mount them

Checked first, mine are aftermarket with an aftermarket clamp, so not an issue. But thanks for the heads up none the less
