Switchback Won't Idle When Cold
 

This is my first cold weather season with this bike. When cold (35 degrees and lower), the bike will not idle (it dies). This does not happen until it warms up some (off fast idle). Even after 30 minutes of riding the problem persists. Eventually, if I keep riding, it will idle. On initial startup when cold, it idles fine (fast cold idle).

Any thoughts? Otherwise it runs fine.

Sounds like you might have a vacuum leak. Take it to the dealer. I'm sure it's under warrenty. Make them figure it out.

Have you done any mods to the bike? have you checked to see if it has any codes stored?
