Ness quarter fairing figment on 2004 dyna vs 2006 up?
 

I'm looking at putting a Arlen Ness quarter fairing onto my 2012 FXDB... Looking at pics on the net shows that with the older dynas (2004) the headlight and fairing sit about 2" higher than the late model ones do?

Is there some sort of difference in the mounting of the headlight? Any way of modifying the newer dynas to have the headlight and fairing sit up as high as the older style? No point really of getting the fairing if it isn't tall enough to block any wind.
