Anyone Mounted the Boom! Audio Windshield Mount Speaker?

According the Parts Catalog the Boom! Audio Windshield Mount Speaker and Amp Kit won't work on a 2009 FXDC... But my Harley Dealership says that it will. Of course I have an 18" Compact Detach Windshield for mine.

Just wanted to see if anyone had used this setup and their comments or questions before dropping $400..

Also, if you or someone you know has one for sale. Let me know, I am always about saving money!

I sell a fork bag stereo, several guys here on the forum have them. They are 500 watts and come in either a 3.5 or 4 in version... They come plug and play ready all you have to do is hook up the power and ground and plug in your music player! I set them up to be quick release, so the bag can be removed in under a minute. The bag does well to protect the amp and speakers however if you do get caught in a bit of a shower, I still however recommend that it is not used in the rain (reason it is quick release). However, it does use marine grade speakers and I have several customers that ride in the rain without worry, I just do not recommend it. I am not sure what kind of speakers that the boom system uses however I use Polk audio in my set ups. So far it is the loudest I have ever heard. If you have any questions let me know.
the 3.5 version is $300 or $350 with cigarette charger installed and the 4in version is $350. If you have any questions feel free to let me know!

I have one that is only one year old. Just took it off my FLHRSE4 since I don't run a windshield anymore.

pop head phones off the bracket and velcro back of them and in a helmet I use a 3/4 helmet but will work on 3/4 or full.
