Would you consider the 2012 Super Glide Small?
Maybe I am crazy or got a napoleon complex or something, but it seems like my 2012 Super Glide is physically smaller when I pull up to other Harley bikes (not sportsters).

I guess you could say that the corvette would look small compared to a cadillac.
What's the point? |

It's not small to me but I only weight 165 lbs...For my brother, it's tiny but he weighs about 275...Small is relative...

what are you curious about. Have you even looked at the HD line up before you bought your bike?
Go find a friend that drives a honda rebel if it will make you feel better...sheesh |
Your Super Glide has a longer wheelbase than an Electra Glide.

Yes, I think they do look small, when compared to my electra glide. I really noticed it when I took a test ride on a switchback a few months back. also it seemed small compared to my 2001 FXDP but that thing sat real high because of the sport suspension that it had. They seem to have shortened the rear shocks way down on the newer super glides. makes them seem small. still a heavy motorcycle though, just put it on a scale.

I say they are small, I am 6ft 255lbs (Muscular Not fat) and I say they are small in nature. Just compare them to a Wide Glide or a Victory Hammer. Those 2 bikes are way more spacious feeling. That being said I like my bikes to be short, nimble and powerful. I have a FXDX Superglide Sport and had a Street Bob both with mid controls if that tells ya anything. :icon_eddie:
I am also 6ft @ 245lbs but I had to put on forward controls. This is my first bike and find myself looking at what everyone else has. :icon_wheel: |
No. Just ride.

Hello there
i ride an fxdxi and its a bitch to pull out of the garage backwards up the drive and there is no room to turn it round. Compared to others in the range i think they are in the middle. I like my bike size and think that every bike in the range is a compromise. When we are out as a group and the roads are long and straight i envy the lads on kings and full dressers and when we are on the tight uk back roads the sportys cut a good line and when its a traffic light drag strip i think the vrods are the bis but overall i think that my fxdxi is the best bike in the world for me. |
A little smaller.....maybe, but WAY cooler!
Touring bike = Nice, and comfy. Dyna = WHAHOOOO!!! I own both, and if one had to go, it would be the touring bike for sure. |
