Garage Door Opener - 2010 Street Bob
I have the HD garage door opener. Already have it installed and ready to go in the garage, but need to wire up the transmitter on the bike. Has anybody done this? The instructions that came with it do not match up with the wiring I see on my bike... Thanks

I did a garage door mod where you get a opener, solder 2 wires off the contact leads and tuck the opener into the bike, from there some guys will wire it off the brights switch, but my bars where wired so I used a micro momentary push button switch and mounted that in the side of the battery box. Just a simple push and open goes the garage. Super easy mod and works awesome! I have actually done this in prob 8 of my buddies bikes as well. You can google a step by step how to

I went low tech. I purchased on of those small, universal transmitters and I velcro 'ed it to the inside of the right saddlebag. When I stop in front of the garage, I reach over, open the lid, and press the button. I mainly did this because I got tired of searching for the damn thing at the bottom of the 'bag.
