Welcome from Washington State. Now the time begins for you to spend alot of cash on new toys for the big toy.
Others here have stated alot of good info. As far as what piggy back system, well there are a few, Power Commander III, SERT, Vance and Hines FuelPak ect. Really it depends on how much you want to spend, what variables you are working with as in what all changes you have planned and what you are wanting to do. Each one has it's plus and negatives. There has been alot of discussions on them, you can do a search on them and you will find alot of info on each, then make your decision. As it was stated earlier, with the PCIII you will not have to worry about the O2 bungs in the exhaust since the PCIII will eliminate them.
If you do anything to your ride, I would personally suggest different exhuast and a stage 1 Screaming Eagle Air Cleaner upgrade or something equal to it, as in the Arlen Ness big sucker ect. With doing this, you will need to alter the computer, weather with the SERT, PCIII, FuelPak or something along this. Do not put these two items on without doing something to the fuel management. Good luck in what you do and again, Welcome to the site and you will get alot of great info from everyone here, great site and great bunch of men and women here.
Depending on how important thefactory warranty is to you, you might want to consider sticking with a system that retains the O2 sensors, etc. and doesn't void your warranty. Do you really want to give up a two year unlimited mileage warranty?
HD warranties are worthless, they will fight you every step of the way to not pay. The way i look at it is forget about the warranty and make your bike yours the way you want it. If it breaks within 2 years thats just bad luck(most HDs will not break during the 1st 2years) now the 3rd year, thats a different story.LOL
