'03 FXD "Key" light on Speedo?
 

I've got an 03 FXD, 15k on the clock, SE Breather, V&H Short Shots, and CPP "89 Sporty" needle.
Recently the light on the spedometer that looks like a key is on. I've searched the Service Manual and can not find any reference to what the heck this thing is.
I'm sure it's not the factory "theft deterrent" system because whether I turn the system off with the remote, or the turn signal buttons the manual way, the light still stays on.
Bike runs fine, just ticks me off the light is on.

Any help, I appreciate.

Have you recently changed out any lights for LED's?

Mine came on after rolling in neutral for too long, I had to cycle the ignition on and off four times to clear the key, leave about 15 seconds between cycles. It cleared my key and broke me from letting the bike coast too long in neutral, give it a shot.

I did install a Custom Dynamics brake light with the integrated turn signals. I ordered the along with the tail light, but didnt use them because it was flashing at a normal pace.
I'll try cycling the ignition, and see if that clears it. If not(or if it comes back on), I'll save the link for finding out the trouble codes.

You have a trouble code stored. Try the link Hogpro posted previously.
