I've got the Rat Eye Versions on the front of my 2014, of the 4 LEDs one dies in the first few months and as has been mentioned the annodizing is changing color.
Most all anodizing dye,s will fade in direct sunlight over time. Type 3 hard coat is much better but can still fade. I have done a lot of home anodizing
