Foot peg help
Ok, I just can't make up my mind on what pegs to get for my wide glide. I like the Stilettos, Zombies, plain Jane knurled aluminum, and some of the ones like the bear trap pedals. I even thought maybe some small floorboards would be cool but now I'm just not sure. Any ideas?
I have a design for a set of custom pegs, but not sure if getting them chromed will cost too much or not. Any opinions? Ideas? They have to kick ass whatever they are. Thanks. |
Order them all and keep what you like. I have never seen kick ass pegs. Good Luck.

I ordered the Bear traps from DK Customs. They are awesome. I like the way they still rotate like bike pedals so I can move my feet and they are as wide as the mini floorboards. My feet also stick like glue to them. I can't see ever going back to a regular peg...I have a set of Harley Heel Raisers (pegs with heel rests built in) if anyone is interested. They are like new...

I have the HD Mini Footboard Kit-50451-09 on mine and like them so far just changed 3 weeks ago. I like how my foot is more stable at highway speed and on longer ride it makes a difference.

I just recently ordered the Tripple Traps for my WG. Hopefully have them in and installed by the end of the week.
My only concern with pedals is that if I had them set up to move, that they would end up spinning 90 degrees on me and catching the heel of my boot and sticking my foot between the pedal and the shifter in an emergency when I need to be repositioning my foot to downshift. |
