Default 06 Low Rider CHeck Engine Light Help

I got some bad gas about a week ago pumped it out. Put fresh changed plugs took it too dealer had the clear trouble codes. Bike runs good but when i start it in the mornings it turns over about 15 to 20 seconds then starts. Check engine light comes on after running about 5 seconds then goes out after about 10 to 15 seconds after it comes on. I have a PC3 and SE heavy breather. It didn't start doing this till after i got watery fuel. Anyone have any ideas that might help me. Can you get trouble codes with out a scanner ?

Yes you can read codes without a scanner. At the top of the Dyna forum page there are some How To 'stickeys'. The 3rd one has the procedure to follow.

My 06 lowrider was throwing the same code and my engine light was doing the samething with going on and off. Also have a PC3. Turns out the main harness connector and PC3 harness connectors got water in them. I dried them out and put dielectric silicone on the pins and the problem went away. Did you happen to wash the bike or ride in the rain?

I don't remember the exact code I got, but it said something about the o2 sensor. Come to find out the o2 sensor was not tight. I bought an o2 sensor socket at Harbor Freight Tools, tightened the sensor, cleared the code and that was that!
