What are XIED'S?
I've seen this on several posts, what is it?

Fancy oxygen sensors that allow your EFI to cope with changes to air filter and pipes better than the stock ones....for my money I would go with a proper tuner like a FuelPak.

They are a pair of resistors that are added between the existing sensors and the ECU as a voltage divider to increase the bias voltage on the sensors. This makes it look as though the engine is running lean and the ECU compensates accordingly. A cheap and cheerful stage-1 upgrade option. |
