Does anyone know if they make a cable kit for 2014 Wide Glides? I ordered a 2014 that will get delivered when I get home from Korea next year. I would like to have some of my mods ready to go when I pick it up. I want to put on 14" Evil Apes with 1" risers and I have been looking for a cable kit that works with them. I am looking for black steel braided cables that will work with ABS brakes. I hear there is dealer work that is required as well right? Thanks in advance!

Don't know about kits but if you get everything you need then that's all that matters.

 

True i thought about just buying the Hurley kit for the 10 inch bars I'll be getting instead of spending 300 to try all of the mangum ones but Hurley doesn't have brake cables.....

 

Do you mean Burly? If so Magnum Shielding has much higher quality cables, Burly is not junk but the difference is there and noticeable.

 

Dur but 400 to 200 is a big difference

 

Burly doesn't have kits for ABS do they? All I see are non-ABS kits. The Magnum Shielding cables come with an ABS option. I would imagine all manufacturers will come around with ABS kits now they it is standard on a lot of bikes.

 

Post up your part #s since many including myself will need to do the same. Im putting apes on my wifes bike and the ABS will be the last thing I will need to do to complete the project. Anybody know if you even have to take it to the dealership for bleeding, I hear it needs to be put on a machine to bleed ABS?
