Default 8" straight risers?

I have a 2005 Superglide currently with 6" risers. I didn't have to change and hoses, cables or wiring. I am going to go up to 8" straight risers and I am wondering which I'll have to change besides the brake line which will def be too short. Thanks in advance.

Your clutch throttle and brake probably won't make it. The wiring should be ok there is alot under the tank. You will have to cut the zip tie under the seat to be able to pull it out of the neck.

I have an 01 T-Sport, all stock cables and wires... running 8" risers and Biltwell tracker bars. So I'm sitting just under 10" of total rise.

Throttle and clutch are fine as is, I had to cut a few zip ties to extend my speedo and tach wiring that sits on my risers. Brake line will reach too if you carefully bend the hard line at the lower tree.

I'm not a fan of that method, looks a little ghetto but it works. It gets done all the time, but I'll be swapping to a new custom length steel braided this winter.

I've "heard" that you can run up to 12" of total rise on the stock set-up... but I'd have to see it to believe it.

I'm in the same dilemma. Biltwell trackers but do I go for 6 or 8 inch risers?

Both will fit with stock cables.

I'm 5'10" and run a Saddleman Profiler seat that's pretty thin and my arms are pretty much parrallel with the gorund when sitting on the bike.

Here's a pic during install:

Complete:

I like them, eventually I'd like to switch to a set of 9" risers and Pro Taper bars to put me around 12" total. I stand up a lot and could use a little extra rise.
