Issues with wheel lacing: 21" x 3.25" Jireh Rim
Ok so I pulled my front wheel (2012 WG) and intended to relace my new Jireh rim to replace the skinny one, which is a more popular mod on the SBs.

I figured that them both being 21" wheels, I would be OK with the stock spokes and lacing pattern. I was wrong. The drop center of the rims are a different length and therefore the diameter inside of the drop is a 1/2 smaller.
I know other WG owners have done this mod, how did you lace the wheel?
Is there another pattern that is working with the stock WG spokes?
If I get some SB spokes could I lace the rim the same way the SB owners do? Or are those two hubs different sizes?
PS: I also bought a cross bones rim to lace to my rear. Its a 17" wheel just like the stocker. Am I going to run into trouble there too?

well i found this thread on the softail forum:

Looks like I need new spokes? Sucks. But if the mid glide and wide glide dyna hubs are the same, then I don't see why SB spokes wouldn't work?

the rim is completely different than a typical 21 drop center, the lace pattern is actually much wider that is why people go to this wheel that have a stock 19" wheel on their bikes. This rim will NOT work with the stock 21" spokes yo need 19" spokes and adjust the lace pattern to run the Jirah rim. that is why it is such a popular go to for st bob owners as it is just lacing in a new ring and all your other parts can be re used. if you are trying to lace in a stock wide glide hub/rim you will need to get shorter spokes

OK, so I called Jireh and asked if they had spokes in stock that will work with this rim. They gave me this:

However, I am not too confident that these will work because the guy on the phone wasn't to reassuring.
Should I just go with HD street Bob spokes to be safe?

How long are stock SB spokes?
Dennis Kirk has a set advertised as 8 1/8th long for 19" rims.
my other option is pn 31-93 from Jireh:

I called and they said these spokes should work, but the description doesn't say whether these are for a drop center rim or if they will fit this specific drop?
I'm confusing myself lol
