Does anybody with a Switchback have a Truck Lite Phase 7 LED headlight on? They're way cheaper than the Harley LED, I have on my Street Bob; just wanted to see if anybody has any experience with it.

 

I have one on my vrod, it's awesome.

If the pics are of the actual product then yeah that's definitely the same light, but the Trucklight version is listed there for $186 also

 

Members over at the Switchback forum have had only good to say about the Phase 7 LEDs.
Only negative I've read is the low power draw of the LED HL can cause error codes in some bike.

 

Thanks for the info, I always forget to check that forum. I think if it does give me problems I've got some LED resistors sitting around.

Same thing he said. Mine has the error code. Still working on the solution. I don't really want to add resistors.

 

Trucklite makes the 7" led. Kuryakyn G.E. all the same different boxes. Now making different one . Reflector optics are different unsure of part number.

 

I've got the Truck Lite Phase 7 on my Switchback. I love it. Huge improvement over the stock light. I've never had any error codes.
