If I were buying a new bike in 2014, it would surely be the Fat Bob (but with mids). Have fun with it!

Good choice. I rode a bunch of HDs and the Fat Bob handled the best out of all of them to me. If youre looking for a good shock with just a little drop check out the 11.5" Progressive 444s. Ive been pretty impressed with mine. Slightly firmer than the stock shocks but more responsive and easily adjustable by hand with the bike on the ground.

Nice bike man! I'm looking at the 14' FB vivid black just not sure how I'll like the forward controls. I'd black out a few parts like u are doin plus pipes and intake and I think there sweet bikes!

The forward controls are not bad at all. I'm 6ft and they fit me very well. Not to hunched up and not so far that I cant put pressure on my pegs when needed. Call and set up a test ride man. I was on the fence about it until I did.

Thanks everyone. I freaking love the new fat bob. Figured I'd go ahead and toss up some new pics. Soon as I finish figuring out how to hide the wiring for the new curved side mount plate Ill post that up. Ordered new footpegs from JokerMachine. After putting my foot down in some oil yesterday and having my foot slide off my peg a couple times I decided to get something with some bite. Got my powder coating scheduled for next month to black out a few parts. Went ahead and ordered the flush mount gas caps and integrated mirrors. Now to decide on whether to stick with drag bars or look for something else. Gonna be a busy couple weeks.
