well im finally going to install my woods 222 cams this weekend. the last bit of info I need is the torque specs for the 2 chain tensions, the cam plate bolts, rear cam bolt and pinion bolt and also the cam cover bolts. also the torque sequence for the cam plate and cover. any body got these handy? thanks in advance

I would suggest buying a service manual. All that is in there.

Get a manual dude, a lot more than torque spec you need to know.

Go to Tradebit.com and buy an electronic HD Service Manual for $5. Also recommend swapping out the cam bearings for some Torringtons.

Hi,

Great video, can clean engine oil be used instead of assembly lube?

Thanks
Mirrmu

thanks for the help guys found the info somewhere else. figured a simple question could be answered quick. yes clean oil can be used as assembly lube. ive done it several times on many different types of motors and never had an issue. only advantage to assembly lube is its thicker so itll stay in the bearings for longer. as long as you start it shortly after you assemble it you will be fine.
