Bassani Pro Street Heat Shields
 

A shot in the dark but...

Bought a used 09 FXDB that has Bassani Pro-Streets with no heat shields. I've found plenty of vendors with the replacement shields for bikes with forward controls, but none for bikes with mids, which I have.

I tried J&P, Drag Specialties, eBay, and other vendors, mind you my google-fu is not strong, but still there must be some out there. According to J&P that pro-street for mids is discontinued which is why it is so hard finding the replacement shields.

Anyone have an idea on where a better place is to look?

Could always look on Craigslist. Might get lucky. If you cannot find some you could always wrap them. Good luck

They look similar to the Bassani Firesweep pipes I have, maybe the heat shields are interchangeable.

In case anyone ever finds this thread and has the same issue, the proper part number for the shields is HS-DNG-3215M. I found some NOS.

One of my riding pals has Pro Streets with no heat shields. He wrapped them and it looks real cool.
