okay so this is whats going on. the bike started perfectly fine last summer. this summer i went to start it and all it did was click and slowly start to crank over. it did that a couple times. and then all of a sudden nothing. so i ended up useing a screw driver on the starter cylinoid. and if fired right up. so i did that 2 or 3 times. and not that wont even crank the bike. any help would be appriciated. all lights work, singles im really confused. and starting to loose my mind. i put the bike on cl today i got so mad at it.

Welcome to the forum.
Start with the obvious- bad battery, dirty or faulty starter switch, loose/dirty battery cables and ground cable. Besides the screwdriver trick, what else have you checked?
Hopefully someone here with more experience on an older model can help you out so you don't have to sell it. Which could be tough if it won't start, anyway.

Stop "messing around" with it and take the damn battery out and get it tested. Let us know how it works out.

Maybe you should ride that bitch more during those winter months...it don't snow everyday in Wisconsin, does it? ;)

Clean the carb, empty fuel tank, new fuel, new battery, and go riding. If you cant do that much than owning a Shovel probably isnt for you. Cuz lots more things are gonna need attention along the way and you are gonna need to know how to work on it. If your mechanical level is below average you will never be able to ride that bike outta town.
