Thanks. I put 30 miles on it last night. I really like the ride and feel of the bike. Only thing that, for me, is going to take some getting used to is the lack of braking power compared to my previous bikes. I am so used to the stopping power of sport bikes that I will have to relearn how to break on a cruiser. Handling wise, I am not having any problems.

Understand that also, as I came from a BMW before my LR. But now with almost 5,000 miles on it I have adjusted to the differences.

I think the brakes on it are quite good actually, especially for a 650+ lb bike. And one of my last bikes was a 400lb BMW S1000R - which clearly was no braking slouch.
That being said, I may pop in a set of Lyndall Gold pads, just for the hell of it.
It s the natural progression. We get older, no longer need the adrenalin rush every day, want to enjoy the ride comfortably... No sport bike I ever owned would I call "comfortable" - at best, tolerable. I could take a nap on my low rider... (figurativly of course!)
