After spending some time in this thread, I really want one of these. Currently have a chopped sporty, but a LR would be so much more comfortable. This is a nice forum. Mostly been at XL forum, but wandered over here when I started thinking about a dyna.
The LR is a very comfortable bike. LR owners love their bikes. Great looks. Great features. The LR is, in my humble opinion, the bike to have.
I have ALMOST 200 miles on it...bought it on Cinco de Mayo...
Loving the bike.
Good to hear from you. Welcome to the thread. There is a lot of great info concerning the LR in this thread. Be sure to keep us updated on what you do to the bike.

I know I'll probably regret saying this but....I think I'm going to do my best to keep 'this bike' stock (aside from the lay down plate and windshield I have already installed; honestly, the stock license plate bracket is a true abomination).
I wouldn't mind buying another set of head pipes and removing the catalytic material...but that's really all I need for this bike.

I have to agree on the license plate bracket! I am closing in on 750 miles and I have bought my bike on Memorial Day! Here is a lesson for you, don't use a gas station paper towel to wipe gas off your tank. I scratched the crap out of my Jade but got it buffed. That was an expensive tank of gas! Love the V&H slip on too. I don't know if it is my imagination, but it is sounding better every time I ride. I am loving the LR!

I hear ya. I had a 2009 Ultra Vivid Black...what a chore man. You think I would have learned!
I have to take my time fueling and trying not to spill the fuel!
Reviews are positive and looking at the sizes I think it should fit. I have ordered up as the stock bulb and the replacement PIAA Extreme White are too yellow compared to my Custom Ringz DRL/Indicators

Rode my LR to work on Mon. Have not been able to ride since. Hoping to get a small window of riding opportunity on Sat. At about 700 miles. So far, all is going well. My desire to ride has really been building since Mon.
I should be getting the 1000 mile service sometime in the next two weeks.
