gjasr that noise is just a characteristic of the automatic tensioner. most just dont hear it after adding K&N filters and other muffler blocks it out. and its automatic so dont have to do anything other then adjust clutch. my dealer does 1K for free. get some redline or amsoil "primary chaincase fluid". and they dont greese the steering head bearings at 1K just check "fall away" and torque on them
None as of now. I am waiting to see if my wife will enjoy it or not and if she does I will probably pick up a Corbin seat. I also want to get a sissy bar and back rest. It will be a little while before I spend anymore on it so I can let my funds build up again.
Be sure to keep us updated on what you do to the bike. Any issues you might have with it. The overwhelming majority of 2014-15 LR owners love their bikes. It is the only bike I want to be riding.

Will do.
I took it out on a little highway trip today, 150 miles and got 50 miles per gallon. That was running 70-75 mph. I learned that I will need to change the seat for sure. I am just shy of 6' 1" and it is putting me too far forward. I need to sit a tad higher and back a bit. I am thinking of getting that Tallboy seat from HD. On my next set of days off work I am going to go up to our local dealership and see if they have a demo one in stock that we can bolt on and see how it feels. I love the look of the stock seat but it is putting me too far back on my tailbone with how I am positioned.

50mpg. That gotta be a world record.
I have a tallboy on my LR. Love it. Looks silly as hell but it's the most comfortable seat I've sat in on any bike. I'm 6'2".
I just did a 1200 mile round trip on my 15 Lowrider and according to my Power Vision Tuner, I got 49-50 mpg on 2 tanks on the return side of my trip. my last fill up was 3.9 gallons at 192 miles.

I think its possible with the the engine 100% stock and no wind management items. You just need to know how to milk it.
I got 48.5mpg ONCE on my street bob when it was 100% stock on the back roads taking it very easy. With a stage 1 it hovers just below the 40mpg mark on average and climbs a little over 40 on leisurely rides.
