My friend with his soft tail and I are on a tour around Alberta. Put on over 400 miles today and the weather was beautiful. We are in my home town of Cold Lake.

How long is the tour? Cold Lake looks like my kind of town.

It is a little piece of heaven. The lake is about 20 miles across on average and over 300 feet deep. I will post aicture of the marina tomorrow. With the air base here the total population is about 15,000. Very nice here in the summer. The trip itself is just an over nighter. We will be driving 275 miles home tomorrow after showing my friend around a bit first. If you are interested there are some good videos on YouTube of Cold Lake. Here is one of them there is a pretty good shot from the air of the marina. We are staying just a block up the street from it.

There are so many great things that have come out of this thread. I must say thanks to Ikelove for starting this almost 200 page thread. I have to admit that reading this thing for 3 plus days did help me decide to join the LR family. And then the test drive sold me!
