I did not initially recall seeing this exhaust before, so I started going checking the thread. It has been used a few times. See next post.

Suspension (Shocks and front end internals, not sure exactly what yet) then fairing. Would love to move the gauges up to the bars at some point, similar to the FXDX

Not yet. Not getting any real popping on decel, running strong so not too concerned. Future plan is to upgrade the intake system at the same time, probably either going power commander 5 or power vision, and have it properly dyno tuned. Maybe come tax return season if mine is big enough...

Was at work today when I got a call from local HD dealer offering me free winter motorcycle storage. Thought that was nice of them. However, I have a garage. Anyone else get such an offer?

The bad thing about only running slightly lean is the higher temps can cause the chrome to discolor.

The exhaust may not be popping or pinging but I would recommend getting it tuned anyways.

A tune is definitely in the cards, more of a money thing than anything. I'm a little wary of dumping 250+ on a tuner plus the tune if it's not needed immediately. Not too worried about the chrome changing colors since the exhaust is all heat shields. Now if the heat shields start changing colors, then it'll become a priority.

Riding season coming to an end. A few more days of riding to work. Going to be a long 3-4 months waiting for winter to pass.

Ride South for the Winter! Just imagine how good of a rider you could be if you didn't have to repeat your first year again and again...
