I've been out twice this past week. Both times were dry days, but both times some of the roads were so slimy that the bike took a lot of cleaning afterwards. On one ride, I tried a camera I just bought. Clearly, a helmet mount is going to work so much better, and an external mike would be a plus, but I'm pleased with the picture quality.
Yeah, it looks like he should! In fact, I did wonder about mounting the camera above the headlight behind the screen, but the screen gets dirty. Then again, if the camera was in front of the screen, the lens would get dirty. Hmmm. I don't like the idea of a helmet mount, but it's probably the only good option.
Has anyone changed just the handlebar without changing the risers? In a perfect world I really want to change the whole handlebar setup but I have a memphis shades gauntlet fairing and it appears that fairing would become useless if I do the entire bar/riser/headlight swap. I'm looking at just changing the handlebar to maybe a flat drag style bar and leaving the riser alone. I swear I've seen it done before on a bike I saw used a few years ago. Would love to see pictures if anyone has this done
