Planning on it in a few years when I retire.

Kinda feeling bad...ever since I got the TSport I feel like I've neglected the Low Rider a little bit...I've maybe ridden it 3-4 times since April. Need to start at least attempting to alternate...lol. Still love this bike. Much different animal compared to the early narrow glide Dynas...

Still looks pretty badass too...lol

Yeah, those evil bastards don't use "global warming" anymore. It's too specific. Now, their catch phrase is "Climate change." Which can mean anything and everything (hot OR cold, wet OR dry), but it's still hard to defend against as it has no definition...or, the definition is hard to hit, like a pitcher's knuckleball/screwball sinker/raiser. Perfect crime, actually.

Cannot wait to be in your position (less than a year until retirement). For me retirement mostly means being able to leave IL. You already live in a great state.

I am happy here; had left Ohio about 40 years ago.

I remember when this thread always stayed on page one. Today near bottom of page 3. I am guessing the Low Rider owners have moved to different models or did all the changes to their bike they wanted...

Still rocking mine! I prefer to think of the downfall of this thread as more of us are out riding than posting online lol. But really I'm stuck at work today and most every other day. I'm sad to say I have put as many miles on my low rider in the 5 years I've owned it as I did my CBR the first year I owned it. Not that I love this bike any less but back then I was single and worked half the hours I do now so I spent all my time out riding vs now its once a week or so I actually get out to ride.

On a side note, my low rider has been down with a broken ignition since bike week last month. I finally got around to cutting down the ignition bracket and deleting the igntion altogether, added security and had the dealer program the bike to be "keyless" so now all power comes on when I hit the run switch. Great upgrade over the stock ignition I've had problems with for years!
