Default st bob solo backrest/rack order

I just received an e-mail from Ian Gibbs at "two wheel touring" and they are ready to order the rack/backrest that will reportedlywork with the factory solo street bob seat. A thread on this backrest was posted a day or two ago but I can no longer find it. If you are interested in getting one of these you can contact Ian @ ian@twtouring.comit is made byFehling part #7169. The cost is expected to be around $200. We will be notified of the cost just before the order. Below is a picture (hopefully) of the item.

i kinda dig it....IF it is rather removeable.

i don't need it all the time and i wouldn't want it on there all the time.

looks like the front two attachpoints might require you to lift and get under the fender (the other is just for a 2up seat and that's easy)

unless someone has an idea on how you could make it quick release...?!?!

I like it alot as well, but I might have to pass since I would have liked it for "long" trips, but I'd have to give up the use of my saddlebags....I guess you can't have everything.

It would not be real hard to remove that sucker. Probably less than 5 minutes. Those front bolts have a nutsert. So as long as you had the shorter bolts on hand to replace them with I bet it would take very little time.
