Really thinking about picking this up for my '14 Street Bob.

Anyone have this exact seat? Danny Gray seats get a lot of praise here, so comfort isn't my concern as much as if it will put me a bit further back or forward.

I have forward controls and not a lot of room in the legs if it drops me back some.

Curious about your opinions.....

 

I had that model for a few weeks on a Sportster 48, it was very comfortable and I liked the looks. It did not change my position by much, maybe a half inch or so back. Liked the back support.

I looked at getting the same model for my Street Bob but decided to do a C&C instead for some custom look and vibe (even though I got a basic model).

 

Did you have the gel in the one you had on your 48??

 

I have multiple seats and use this the most. It is comfortable for me and looks the best imo. As mentioned, improved back support and I think it drops you down and back slightly. The rear is narrow for the passenger. For longer 2-Up rides I use a C&C Sport Tour typically. Yes, I got the gel on the Danny Gray, though hard to know on how much of a difference it made.
