Question Trailering, disable alarm

What is the best way to trailer and not have the rear light keep flashing and draining the battery. I think I had the key farb in my my car glove box. Possibly I should keep the key in my saddle bags so it makes the sensor believe I am on the bike.?? Or is it the reverse.?
Thanks,
roger

I've never read my user manual in such depth but I reckon there has to be a way to put the alarm in service mode, or pull the main fuse with the ignition on and the fob present so the alarm knows a valid user has killed the power and the alarm wont trigger anymore seems familiar.

Maybe double check my last point but remember doing this on a Sporty when doing a tank lift.

Transport mode. With fob present turn bike on then turn run switch off turn key to acc. then press both turn signals. Lights should flash then it's ready.

It may be kind of a pain, but if you can't remember how to get it
into transport mode, you can always just pull the main fuse....

I also find it easiest to pull the main fuse when trailering

Use a Zip-tie to place the fob and key on the bars.

Transport mode is just as stated in above post. Even when fob is on bike, tail lights will flash.

When I had to tow mine, I left the fob in the saddle bag.

Called the dealer and they said the same thing. Just put the farb in the saddle bags.
Thanks,

Keeping farb in saddle bags did not work. Finally had to recharge battery. On the way back disconnected the battery and it did the trick.
I also understand there is a way to put the bike into transport mode.
