2009 StreetBob not starting.
Hi every one I am new here. I own a 2009 StreetBob that's been in storage for a few months on a battery minder. When I try and start it the engine isn't turning over and a noise like a machine gun coming from the starter motor. Took the starter out yesterday to check if anything was damaged, jammed or broken but everything seems fine. The battery is has been checked and shows over 13v with no load, dropping to about 11v with ignition on and starter making that noise. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
Sam

It sounds like a bad battery. Even though your testing shows it as good.
Since you took out the battery then you can rule out the battery cables being lose.
Does your battery tender have a light. Mine shows a bad battery after charging for a while. The light stays red but it flashes with a bad battery.
Even though it flashes or doesn't it isn't a sure way of testing.

I would hook up a real battery charger to it and try to start...if you get the same symptoms, then I would say it's the relays.
I have actually replaced a decent battery due to a bad relay leading me to believe it was the battery. Those relays do some strange things when they get some corrosion in them.
Also, pull your fuses and see if they got corroded up while sitting...along with the battery cables, (but since you had that all apart I'd assume they are clean now.)
