Default remove 03 dyna electrical enclosure

I figured it would be as simple as unscrewing the 4 bolts with an allen key. However it seems as tho they just keep spinning forever. Maybe they are really just that long and I needed to continue? Or is there something more to it than what meets the eye?

Referring to the cover under the seat next to the coil cover with the 4 allen head bolts.

Not sure about 03 but the 4 Allens on my 07 are there for show. You just pull the cover off, no need to remove any screws. Like I said though mine is an 07 and 03 might be different.

I can confirm that on my 2005 Dyna, the cover is removed by pulling it off, just like bobnehoc wrote. Unscrewing the bolts (or turning them endlessly) will not work.

Hold on by four studs pressed in to four rubber grommets, before you push that cover back put a dab of pet jell on the studs for lubrication, next time it pulls off real easy.

Maybe petroleum jelly?

I wouldn't bother with that though...don't really want it to come off easy IMO.
