I just recently traded my Iron 883 for a 2014 Fat Bob. I was wondering if anyone knew how to integrate the rear turn signals with the brake lights. If this is possible I think it would look really good. Thanks for any help

Will this kit get rid of the bullet turn signals. I want to get rid of them and make the dual brake light works as the brake light and turn signals

 

Ahhh, I misunderstood. That kit turns you bullets into combo tail/brake/turn signals. There is an led tail light (Kury I believe)that is also turn signals, but not sure if they make it for the 2014 yet.

 

The new bob has the integrated LED brake light. I don't know if anyone's built a replacement yet for it

 

I am not necessarily trying to replace the taillight as much as combining the existing one with the turn signals

 

essentially you need build a switched gate that will disable power from the brake circuit to the bulb(s) that have power from the blinker circuit with a delay to prevent the light from coming back on during the blink cycle. im unaware of anyone that has a prebuilt board replacement for this.

this is not an easy mod if your not already familiar with fixing/building electronics.

you might give the guys at custom dynamics a call and see if they are already working on something

 

Thanks for the info. It sounds like this project is a little out of skill level. I will either wait to see if anyone else comes up with one or just find another alternative

 

I would think you'd be able to use a stop turn tail module to accomplish this. You'd just have to figure out the wiring in the lights. If they're wired together, you'd have to separate them.
