Super Glide Custom missing from HD website

Where did the Super Glide Custom go? It's no longer listed on the HD website under the 2014 models. Is it slated for discontinuation?

The 2014 FXDC was a limited production bike which was discontinued when the new Low Rider was announced. If you can get your hands on a 2014 Super Glide at a good price you would have a unique bike as it's the only FXDC with a factory 103 cu.in. Engine.

And, no, you can't have mine.

Such a beautiful bike has to return some day.

The FXD is probably going to sit out a season or two. Harley seems to do this now and then with a popular model so it doesn't become too popular. My guess to maintain some amount of resale value.

Harley dropped the Nightster, the most popular sportster model ever. Why?? For the '72... a niche bike at best... not knocking it, just not my niche, it's still a Harley...

It's been gone from the official HD website since March. Still is on my local dealers website though. Don't know why they did that since they were still in dealerships. I bought mine in March.

^^^^^ Agree 100%. The Low Rider had been AWOL since 2009. I believe that Harley thought continuing the FXDC might just steal some sales away from the new Low Rider. I think they did away with the Low Rider in 2009 because the FXDC was pretty much the same bike, and was a better buy. The SuperGlide has been around since 1971. It's the bike that started everything. Until the SuperGlide, you basically had two choices, a Sportster or an FL. It'll be back in a year or so, "bigger and better". Glad I got mine now! I've owned pretty much everything HD offers (3 baggers, 2 SuperGlides, a softail which I hated, and 2 Sportsters) and the SuperGlide is by far my FAVORITE ride! Sold my Road King Classic to buy one!

Just like HD bringing back a cheaper version of the Road Glide Custom and having a RG Special but no Ultra. I can almost bet there people in HD who don't ride or listen to the customer base for particular models. And owning a Super Glide and a Low Rider they are not the same even though they share the same engine and frame.

Would you trade your used 2013 fxdc 96 for a new 2014 fxdc 103?
