Hayden Primary Chain tensioner
 

Anybody have one? I installed mine on my 2006 over the winter. It was pretty noisy when I first started it. It whines like it has a super charger on it. Well... over 1000 miles later and its still whining. Not as loud but it still has a noticeable whine.
I was told that it was supposed to get quieter in around 300 miles. Well.. it got a little quieter but I am wondering if anybody has one and what their bike sounds like. I am not complaining. Bike shifts great, with no issues. Just wondering about the noise.

Mine whines sometimes too but it shifts so smooth and feels so good I am not worried about it. It does quiet down more over time but occasionally still whines . I have had mine installed for about 6 thousand miles.

Just checked on mine yesterday at 2500mi. I don't really notice any noise riding. It made noise at first. Happy with its performance.

Hell...they all make noise! My stocker did and so does the HD SE I installed! You can't have a nylon shoe riding on a double row chain moving by at a gazilion miles an hour with out a little noise! How could it NOT make noise? Knowing that my chain is running at the proper adjustment is worth a little noise! Harley's aren't Bentley's!
