Got my cams a few days early and the bearing tool. Need to get clutch spring,pushrods yet, lifter holders, cam crank lock tool, gaskets and o rings and snap ring. In mean time put in stealth bulbs with smoke lens, led fender edge light and black clutch/brake levers. Hope to get all and have done before labor day. High hopes but we will see.Had a little boo boo that may hold me back.

 

Ouch!! Don't hurry on the mods, enjoy and do them right! Be sure to keep us updated and get some gloves!

 

No hurries. It gets done when it gets done. Just hope to get it all together and cam specs into my tune and see if I can vtune it or if I need dyno. May vtune now and dyno in spring. I cut my thumb drilling a shim at work and bumped vice grips and it spun and went through my glove. 7 stitches. I don't like these new Irwins without the lock release handle.

 

Ouch how did you do that unscrewing the bulbs?

 

fabricating a sheet metal shim at work. It came loose from the vise grips clamping it when I was drilling, and it spun,cut through my glove right into my thumb. 1/16 aluminum dug right in.

 

Looks awesome. (the bike, not the gash in your thumb...that looks like it hurts)

 

Ouch gotta hurt. I know how u feel. I am a sheet metal worker by trade. Love your propipe, installed 1 myself and absolutely love it.

 

Thanks guys. Its not pleasant as now stitches came out early from infection and waiting for orthopedic Dr to see if they can get it healing faster. I Love my pro pipe too. I'll have some better pics and stuff once things heal up and get few more thing installed.I really like the stealth bulbs. Make signals look much better under smoked lens. Going for black push rod tubes when I install cams and that will clean engine up some to break up the chrome a little.
