Default HELP: 2010 Wide Glide noise in front wheel-brake

There is a clunk metal noise coming from the front wheel or brake when I pass over bumps or even small holes in the road.
After many searches I've noticed that this noise stops when I have my front brake applied a bit (meaning that I slowly ride over a bump with a touch of braking using the front brake). If I do the same without braking then I hear the clunking metal sound from the front wheel...
any help would greatly appreciated

If it's not the fall away, check the front motor mount. Not related to braking but it could be speed related. Also put a wrench on the tank mounting bolts and tighten up.

agreed with the above, front motor mount, fall away (depending on your year there was a service bulletin for a different washer to be used on the stem nut) could also be your wheel spacer if your front axle is not tq'd propperly

Many thanks for the replies. front motor mount and tank mounting bolts allready checked and it not something related to them. I lean towards fall away and wheel spacer. I'll check these on weekend and see how it goes
