Default Little less Fat Bob, little more Dyna...

Been mulling this over for months, finally took the plunge. I replaced the iconic chunky wheels of the FB with a set of 18" HogPro ‘Titans' with black trim, matching rotors, and new Metz ME880 tires (thanks to 'Drew' at HogPro for setting me up!) Finish of these wheels is top-notch, and the fit is exactly as OEM - axles, spacers, pulley, calipers all mounted up without any hassles whatsoever. Once I got the wheels on the bike I wondered why I waited so long - to my eyes the Titans look way better than the stockers.

After completing the install, took the bike out to ‘scrub’ off the tires and get initial impressions of the changes. Bike rides as smooth as before and seems to handle just a bit more crisply. Hard to say if the larger wheels, shorter sidewalls, or the ME880’s tire compound are most responsible for the differences, but I think it all comes together in a positive way for my particular style of riding.

Overall, a nice mod that really enhances the ‘black-out’ look of my bike. And I think I can finally put my wallet away - I’ve pretty much done all I can do with this FB. Thanks for looking - ride safe!

I've stated in some other posts that the big, chunky tires were a low point to me for the FB, and with what you did, to me, proves my point.

Bike looks great and if you say it's handling a little tighter, that works for me too.

Why DID you wait so damn long?!

Daryl, your fatbob is probably the nicest I have seen. The wheels certainly make a huge impact on the looks of the bike. That thing is the complete package now. The only thing I would do is some 12" black T bars to complete everything. Yes, I sell those too.

I will put this up in my gallery on our website and on facebook.

Love it. Please put me down as first in line if you decide to sell in a year or two!
