Wide Glide 2" over Fork Tubes

Hey folks...I have put Switch Back wheels on my Wide Glide and lost a little clearance...Does anyone know if 2" over forks lift the front of the bike a full 2"? I thought I read somewhere that 2" over only lift 1" and if that is the case I may have to go to 4" over...
