Default Tires for my Fatbob

Need to replace my stock dunlops 427 and don't really want to spend the $$ being asked by Harley for the 427's.

Based on research i can't seem to find the exact size i have on now. I need a 180/70 in rear but closest i've been able to find is 180/65.

2 questions:

1. Recommendations on replacement tires
2. What would the impact be if I replace with the difference size as noted above.

Thanks in advance.

5mm less will make your speedo read faster than you are going, also will read lower than actual on the odo.

Ride wise you will only notice a small difference, you will feel ever so slightly lower than stock.

+1 on the Cobras, it was a tight fit, but the ride is excellent - way better than the stockers!

I put the Pirelli Night Dragons on my Fat Bob. Love the grip and handling. Getting ready to do another set.

Motorcycle Super store has Avons in the stock fat bob sizes and over-sized.
The regular size was 250.00 for the pair.
Paid 300.00 for a pair of oversized Avon Cobras. 2 weeks ago. Bike handles so much better than those crappy dunlops.
They having a sale on them now, best prices I could find.
