My understanding is V2 has been upgraded to 1050 Denier Ballistic Nylon from INVISTA. That may be why prospective buyers are fewer and looking for a cost difference to justify used V1.
There is a significant cost difference. The V2's are $699 before tax and shipping. A new pair of V2's could easily turn into $800. If someone feels that the new material is worth $250 more than these then they should buy the new ones.
I would personally rather spend $250 on something else for the bike.
Haha! Mad cause I wouldn't lower the price for ya via PM?
If you want to spend $699 plus tax and shipping on new bags then go right ahead.

And yet I'm happy with the price i paid, and with the product. How long did the American Classic bags you had last? Or have you never owned a set and just going off what has been fed to you?

You're allowed to be happy with the price you paid and the set you got, I wasn't debating that. I simply was saying don't compare like they come anything close to the LPs.
And living 20 min from American Classic I was able to ride over and look at them before I buying.. Sooooo I didn't need to own a set, and didn't need to have anything fed to me.
