looks like the pipe is hurting your build and maybe need some timing adjustments to help smooth the lines and bring it in quicker. How does it ride? You got a nice build there I am surprised the builder did talk to you about those pipes

I really expected him to call me before they handed him my bike. I had questions about using this exhaust or my Pro Pipe, as well as his opinion on my Zippers a/c. He said the Zippers MaxFlow is a great a/c for my bike and has the same one on his bike. The lousy service manager never told him I wanted to talk to him. I asked him about a re-tune and told me I would only get 4-5 more horsepower, and he is very happy with the immediate and impressive torque my engine creates. He also said that he expected a bigger dipping the torque around 2500-3000 RPMs. He thinks the bike is running great is impressive, and in a race would probably beat many bikes out there with 120-125hp. I don't race, and I don't see how that is possible. He said I shouldn't get caught up in the numbers because many dynos so are not very accurate. The service manager thinks that is the case with their dyno.
I made them pick up my bike in their box van to fix the clutch cable and straighten my steering head like they were supposed to do the first time. I told them to do a compression check, I want to see what numbers the bike produces. If the compression isn't what it should be I would think that's it would be a factor in thus equation. However, I am not expecting a compression issue, I'm just trying to resolve the situation in my own head. It's a real quandary.
Maybe I should bring it to the tuner Scott at Hillside uses, I spoke with him once when I was working on my build and he tunes using wide band.
