TUned with power vision
this is a almost complete tune. It’s going back in next week to add a power commander(had some issues w resoulution needed more fine tuning beyond what He could do with pv.
If he wants to add a power commander on top of a PowerVision tune, he has no clue how to tune with the PowerVision.
Good looking combo you’ve got there!

hey bud u might want to walk back that comment. do u know what tune resolution is? Do u know what the power visions resolution is? Do u know how my bike is reacting between that resolution? You are correct power vision is a great tuner and works great on 99.9% of setups. It worked great on this setup obviously but him and I wanted to clean it up a little.
You’re spending money for a piggyback patch for a problem that wouldn’t exist if the PV was properly manipulated.
And yes, I know the resolution of both tuners as I’ve literally tuned hundreds of each. Why not post the AFR graph and let us see what’s going on.

the main issue is that #2 goes lean between like 3000 and 3500. According to him the pv didn’t have the resolution to get in between the numbers it looks great at 3 and at 3.5 but it has a bump that peaks at like 3.25. Also I believe he said tps or maf, some sensor is maxed out at 40%. Or something like that. The bike is moving a lot of air and he was having trouble giving it enough fuel. he had to set the displacement at like 124 to get enough. I don’t know **** about the pv and tuning Harley’s but I do know afr, timing tables and general tuning had a couple cars running on standalone ems.
so what could he be missing that would allow for some finer adjustments. The tune runs really great compared to what I got from Harley with the exhaust install before the beadwork mani and cam.

I don't know anything about tuning bikes but a quick Google search shows the Power Vision table is in 250rpm increments.
Did you buy the Power Vision from him? And is he giving you the Power Commander for free?

i had the pv and no not paying for power commander. Spoke with some other people about what’s going on and this is not the first instance where a pc was used to clean up where a pv couldn’t. Was told very rare. I will say this the guy tuning the bike is one of the worlds best at tuning bikes of all kinds. However He is still learning about The m8. And he doesn’t use power vision everyday. It’s crazy because the bike runs great right now.
