aftermarket turn signals

Default aftermarket turn signals

Hi guys,
recently acquired a 2004 sportster with all the turn signals removed.
Looking to replace the rear signals, i bought these guys

bobber turn signals bobber turn signals


but im not sure how to attach them to my rear struts. Do i need some kind of post? and bolts?

Looks like they should bolt thru the existing holes for the turn signals in the struts.

Large nut and washer bolt to the inside of the fender.

The post coming from the light is too short to go through the strut and strut cover.

I think you're not going to be able to use them...unless you have a way to extend the threaded section so it fits thru.

If you remove the struts, can they be attached to the strut cover (only)?
