Can I use a higher output stator

I am running a 2007 fatboy with a front fairing containing an aftermarket stereo with four speakers no amp. I burnt a stator about a year and a half ago not knowing what the problem was but I just burnt another one and believe it's because I have the additional electrical items; stereo, running light kit, and USB for GPS, GoPro, or Phone. Can I use an electra glide or touring stator and regulator from the same year?

If you are looking to upgrade your charging system Cycle Electric makes a 50Amp kit that will fit your bike. It is not cheap, but the best on the market and will be guaranteed to fit and they are USA made products. Plus the Touring regulator will not fit on your bike. Message me if you need part numbers for the kit.

Thanks for the reply chromelens, I've been to their web site just not wanting to spend $600 for a kit thinking there has to be a less expensive way to solve this problem. I'm sure I'm not the first one to experience this was hoping for a more affordable solution.
