I bought last week Deka ETX20L battery (color grey, without HD logo) to my year 2000 Heritage Classic. Seller say that battery it's just same that HD's OEM original, but color is not black and there is no HD logo's. It that true?

Deka does manufacture the OEM batteries for HD, and many people here are very satisfied with aftermarket Deka batteries.

Deka ETX20L replaces Harley part # 65989-97C and possibly others.

I just purchased a ETX20L today.

 

I saw an ETX20L at Auto Zone (Virginia) DuraLast Gold ETX20L Power Sports AGM.
not labelled Deka.
I assume it's the same.

I work in retail and my supplier happens to be Deka Batteries and Deka makes All Harley Davidson Batteries and puts the Harley logo on there the DEka EXT20L is the exact same battery only difference is the color

 

And you have to use the copper colored spacers as the terminals are slightly different for side mount cables.

 

been running one for the last 2 yrs and so far so good, the hd ones get around 5yrs so i expect the same. biggest + 80 vs 140 bucks!
