Default Fatboy/Softail Tach Wiring

I've got a 2010 Fatboy Lo that I've decided and added a tachometer. I couldn't afford the dual aftermarket tach/speedo combo so I purchased a used HD tach and mount off eBay. Well it's all mounted but I can not figure out how to wire this thing. My service manual only shows 4 wires from the coil (power, front cylinder, rear cylinder, and the ION sensor). The tach I have is a 3 wire tach (yellow, red, black). I'm assuming the red is 12v+ and the black is ground but where do I attach the yellow wire too?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

do a search but here is roughly were you need too tap in to for a signal if its a non can bus bike ... your trigger wire goes all the way back too your plug at computer PIN 31 I think (pink wire) easily done as you can get a pin from your parts department

Got it, was pin #3 off the ECM which the factory harness doesn't use (no pink wire). Ended up taping into the wire from the fuel programmer that was connected too pin #3 and it worked perfect.
