Regulator replacement on a 2008 Softail Deluxe, extra? 3 prong plug found
I am currently replacing the voltage regulator on my 2008 HD Softail Deluxe and noticed an unused plug with 3 flat inline terminals at the base of the mounting area. The terminals are uncovered and look as though they could be a short waiting to happen.
What is this plug for? Should I be concerned? I am aware of the stator plug, the regulator to battery plug, the O2 sensor plug and the crank plug but can find nothing relating to this additional plug.
Any assistance in clearing this up would be greatly appreciated.
