2008 883XL grounded out?

2008 883XL grounded out?
Hey guys
I put an HD Fender Edge Light on my buddy's 2008 883XL. The light sticks on with double sided tape and, no surprise, he went over a pot hole and the edge light dropped and got chewed up. Now, the headlight, signals and brake/running light aren't working. I cleaned up all the shredded wires, but still nothing.
There's some white powder down near the fuses. Is this normal? Could this just be a blown fuse from grounding out? Any advice?
Wanna get this back on the road before summer ends. Thanks!!!
